Doo Lough meaning Black Lake is situated on the Galway Mayo border in the west of Ireland. It is a place of tranquillity, which can be seen on the road from Leenane in Co Galway to Louisburg in Co Mayo.

The Mweelrae Mountains and the Sheffry Hills surround the lake. A picturesque and peaceful place situated near Delphi and Killary Harbour. A popular fishing area, boats are regularly moored at this jetty and present a tranquil and colourful composition.
